THE VINTAGE
Spring was cool and wet, which caused a relatively late bud break. However, the summer period warmed the vines with heat-related temperatures higher than in summer 2003. Harvest took place in autumn, with relatively cool temperatures preserving the magnificent acidity in the berries, which were picked by hand at optimum maturity.
