“This has a more developed garnet color. Beautifully spicy nose with cherries, brown sugar and soft oak. The palate opens with some fresh green leafy notes with more ripe cherries and sweet spices. There is a subtle bit of meaty decay as well which I found attractive. Aggressive tannins dominate the finish at the moment, so the question is, will they ever soften”.
